This Privacy Policy describes how Sir-5rM8 collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Discord bot.

• IP addresses (beyond what Discord provides to the bot)

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data to:

• Operate the bot — Provide rate monitoring, karma, and notifications
• Maintain features — Store each server’s rate notification and karma data
• Improve the service — Fix bugs and ensure stability

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

• Data is stored in JSON files on the server hosting the bot
• Data is kept only as long as necessary for the bot to function
• We take reasonable steps to protect stored data from unauthorized access

4. Data Sharing

We may share data only when:

• Required by law or valid legal process
• Necessary to enforce our Terms of Service
• Necessary to protect rights, safety, or property

We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Your Rights

You can request:

• Access — To know what data we hold about you
• Deletion — To have your server’s configuration or your karma data removed
• Correction — To correct inaccurate data

To exercise these rights, contact us (see Section 8). Note: Removing the bot from a server does not automatically delete historical data; contact us for deletion.

6. Discord’s Privacy Policy

Sir-5rM8 operates within Discord. Discord’s own Privacy Policy and Developer Terms also apply to your use of the bot and the data Discord provides to us.

7. Children

Sir-5rM8 is not directed at users under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the bot. Discord requires users to be at least 13 years old.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect changes. Continued use of the bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
